Since its founding in 1975, it has grown to become one of America’s largest businesses, with over 100,000 employees and operations around the globe. Among its best-known products are Windows XP and Microsoft Office.

Electric car pioneer Tesla just debuted a prototype of its solar roof tiles, which it calls solar shingles. Earlier in 2017, Elon Musk said production on those tiles would begin at Tesla’s Gig factory 2 in Buffalo, New York. Musk says that these shingles will look better than a normal roof and cost less.
