According to the interview of Tariq Malik(chief of NADRA) this process will be going to become reality in the end of this year. He said that Digital ID card would be Unique.
This step is taken under the vision of digital Pakistan.
NADRA is working on the previous application to update for the digital wallet CNIC. The new Update of the application will be accessible in the end of this year.
This things will be very useful for online document submission, E-banking, e-business,. You will be able to easily add your identity through the digital CNIC wallet.
By launching this application, Pakistan has become first country by using the contactless verification and biometric system through mobile, Smartphone or digital cameras. This is also beneficial for the overseas Pakistani to access and submit your Vote in elections.
This app can be used on both android and iPhone Mobiles devices.
This thing will add one more step in the Development of Pakistan in the way of technology, Because feature is digital.
