Mark Zuckerberg Reveals Who He Thinks Will Rule The Metaverse

Previously, Mark Zuckerberg made waves by saying that Facebook would soon become the metaverse—the virtual world that acts as the connective tissue between multiple social platforms like Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram. But now he’s revealing who he thinks will rule the metaverse in the future, and it’s not Facebook! Find out who he thinks will make up this metaverse of tomorrow in today’s post about Mark Zuckerberg reveals who he thinks will rule the metaverse.

Face Recognition:

Apple’s new technology that’s part of iPhone X is called Face ID. This technology was introduced by Apple CEO Tim Cook on stage during Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference keynote last week. With Face ID, users will be able to unlock their phone, authorize purchases from iTunes and App Store, and use third-party apps (like banking applications) without having to input passwords or PIN codes.

Smart Glasses:

This technology allows wearers to see outside of their physical environment and interact with projected content. We’re a long way off from getting these glasses in stores, but once they do hit shelves, you can bet Facebook will be behind them. That’s because Mark Zuckerberg is so enamored with his own VR headset that he thinks everyone else needs one too—and he’s planning on giving it to them.

Virtual Reality:

Mark Zuckerberg, who is set to appear in court on Tuesday over allegations his company stole intellectual property from Oculus Rift, has spoken publicly about what he believes will be a major feature of our lives in years to come. Oculus Rift is a virtual reality technology which allows users to create their own realistic and three-dimensional worlds by placing a headset over their eyes and tapping into their imagination

Augmented Reality:

This sounds like it’s straight out of science fiction, but imagine a world where holograms are not only possible, but commonplace. Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently said that Augmented Reality is the most social platform ever. In an interview with Wired magazine, he said once you start wearing them, there will be millions of applications.
